What are fishing charters?
Fishing charters are rented boats that come with all the fixings you need at the sea while fishing. You do not have to worry about manoeuvring, refuelling, and maintaining the boat. Neither do you have to worry about carrying the fishing equipment, the baits, the lures or anything else that you might need on a fishing trip. You only have to fish.
What do fishing charters offer during a deep sea fishing trip?
When you go on a Deep Sea Fishing trip with us, you can choose among our different packages. We do not charge per head, but for the whole group, which can include up to 6 people. Here is what we offer in each of the fishing trips.
- 4-hour trips for $500
Includes: Captain, Mate, baits & lures, fishing equipment, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, water, and ice.
Morning Slot: 8 AM to 12 PM
Afternoon Slot: 1 PM to 5 PM - 6-hour trips for $750
Includes: Captain, Mate, baits & lures, fishing equipment, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, water, and ice.
Slot: 7 AM to 1 PM - 8-hour trips / Full-Day trips for $1000
Includes: Captain, Mate, baits & lures, fishing equipment, turkey & ham sandwiches, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, water, and ice.
Slot: 8 AM to 4 PM
You don’t need to bring anything. However, you can carry your beer, and we will keep it cold on board for you. If you need, bring some medication for sea sickness and sunscreen too.
What to do with the fish after an Aruba fishing charter?
You can share the fish with the crew because this is how they sustain themselves. For your share, you can either prepare it yourself or we can help you create a gourmet meal out of your catch of the day by taking it to the most popular seafood restaurant in Aruba – Driftwood Restaurant.
The crew will clean your fish and make the reservations at the restaurant. At the restaurant, you will be treated to a seafood feast with your fish prepared four different ways and served with delectable side dishes like the local cornbread, Bati, white rice, baked potatoes, vegetables, and fried plantains. For just $19 per person, you can eat as much of your catch as you want. That’s the perfect way to end an awesome day of fishing in Aruba.
What to know before renting a charter?
Call the charter services to get a complete picture of what is included and what is not included in the price of the package. If you have to pay extra before boarding the charter, then it could be a real buzz-kill.
